During the past 15 years, in both Sydney and London, the strong visual communication and print production skills of our award-winning and versatile designer, Katy Wright, have seen her work for a range of major international brands.

As head of Impact's design studio, she regularly delights our clients with tailored design solutions ensuring all important cut-through for organisations wishing to communicate their most important initiatives to their people.

While she works across our entire client portfolio, specific highlights have included the creation of a visual identity to support award-winning communication to Australia's largest field sales force, integration bulletins for businesses in change, internal branding for key initiatives and the development of new, and the evolution of existing, company logos. Some of her many clients have included Nestlé, CSR, Woolworths and Caltex.

Importantly, Katy has good ideas that are always strongly aligned with the communication challenge. Her approach, like that of Impact, is to think outside the proverbial box, always creating clean, unique and eye-catching designs which always have the designed behaviour change at their core.

Before joining Impact, Katy designed in diverse environments ranging from entertainment software and new media, to corporate and traditional print publishing. She is proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Katy won Best Designed Non-Fiction Book at the 2006 APA Book Design Awards and was short-listed for its Best Designed Commercial Fiction category and was instrumental in executing a major corporate brand and visual identity for Walter Construction Group across Asia Pacific.

Katy holds a Bachelor of Science (Resource and Environmental Management) from Macquarie University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Design (UTS).

When not in the 'creative zone' at work, Katy enjoys matching people's eye colour to Pantone swatches and counting her paper clip collection.
