John Studdert was appointed the Managing Director of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Australia in January 2008.

Prior to that, John was the Managing Director of Impact Employee Communications, which he co-founded with David Sawicki in 1996 having identified the opportunity to significantly improve the success of important company initiatives through improved internal communication.

During John's leadership, Impact joined the publicly-listed STW Group, Australia's largest communications services company in 2000, and in 2001 Impact became a founding member of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Australia. John and the team developed Impact to become the leading employee communications consultancy across Asia Pacific. The Asian presence was further strengthened in 2007 through the establishment of Ogilvy Impact, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide's regional employee communications practice.

John has worked with numerous leading Australian and international organisations helping them build employee support for a wide variety of business initiatives. A senior counsel to some of Australia's leading CEOs, John has regularly been a speaker at conferences, has served as an IABC Gold Quill Judge and has personally led several award-winning client engagements.

John holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University.

Away from work and the busy sporting careers of his three children, John is most likely to be found in the water, surfing, swimming or competing in water polo.
