The result of communicating strategically to employees should always be action, and this sits at the heart of everything we do. As our strap-line echoes, we’re all about building employee support to achieve business goals.

Businesses realising their people are as important to their strategic plan as a revenue target are enjoying strong business success, and on that basis, every company should put strong value on communicating with its people. They’re the ones who make the vision happen, who smash sales targets, who support community programs and who will talk to friends, family and the industry about how much they rate the company they work for.

Strategic communication is no different to the principles of good business planning and Impact works with clients to:

  • Research to know the market, in this case employees (“Word on the Street”)
  • Educate and achieve ownership of communication at a leadership level (BluePrint workshop)
  • Engage stakeholders in setting priorities, objectives and metrics
  • Identify what should be said and what employees need to do differently
  • Create a strategic communication plan to get the messages out and create the desired change in employees’ actions
  • Ensure alignment to external communication
  • Implement the plan and importantly, measure its success
