It’s now recognised globally organisations must take action to reduce their impact on the environment.

The McKinsey Report (released in February 2008) revealed 70% of senior executives now see climate change as an important consideration for managing corporate reputation and brands. This point is supported by findings in the STW Group's The Australian Report – Climate Change and Its Implications For Business and Brands, which clearly shows a building groundswell of consumer interest in this area, with 99% stating they would view an employer more positively if they actively championed climate change as an issue.

The positive environmental impact of employee engagement in corporate sustainability initiatives now has a proven track record of enhancing internal and external stakeholder perceptions, employee retention, business productivity and profitability.

ecoImpact is an established specialist communication practice with a passionate, qualified team, which successfully assists companies in engaging their people in the climate change challenge through tailored environmental programs achieving tough environmental and sustainability objectives.

In fact, our flagship product, GreenLight, is the only employee education and communication driven approach endorsed and funded by the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC).

Whether they’re government mandated or voluntary initiatives, our communication programs are always designed in consultation with clients to ensure specific, measurable objectives are taken into account.

While ecoImpact’s primary focus is on engaging employees to minimise electricity and water consumption, we can also customise a more holistic program to include measuring carbon footprints, waste reduction and finding ways to reduce indirect emissions.
